The Warda Foundation Academy in Fenton is looking for a multi-age teacher to join our community.
We are a non-public school, made up of families looking for a school setting that is student led, with parental involvement, allowing both to take a more active role in education. We incorporate Montessori and homeschool philosophies to inspire free thinkers and problem solvers. We offer teachers the creative freedom to implement the curriculum and academic goals in a way that appeals to them, the students, and follows the children’s interest and individual style at their skill level. While mastery of skill is important to us, so is creative growth, and experiential learning. We want to inspire learning in our students. We take a hands- on approach to learning. We appreciate the opportunity to embrace the natural world. Our students focus on academics in the morning and then have afternoons full of enrichments that support mental and physical health along with life skills. We take the opportunity once a month for field trips, to get out and reinforce our life skills as well as give our students real world experiences. This is a great opportunity to express yourself as a teacher, make a difference, work with a small class size and build relationships with a wonderful community of families!
